How it works
Import any audio file from the Files app or share it to Y2K Player with “Open with.” Open the song and slide the tempo up — classic nightcore lives around 120–150% with the pitch raised a few semitones, and the vinyl-style linked mode does both in one slide. There's nothing to render and nothing to wait for: the change happens live while the song plays, and the app saves it per song, non-destructively — your original file is never touched.
Not just faster — yours
Because tempo and pitch are separate controls, you're not stuck with one preset nightcore sound. Unlink them to raise the key without racing the tempo, add reverb or a bitcrusher from the effects page, loop the best section, and let a retro visualizer dance to it in the background.
Export and share
With Pro, export your nightcore version as a full-length M4A or WAV — a normal audio file you can drop into a video editor, share with friends, or keep in your library. The free version exports 30-second clips, which is plenty to try the whole pipeline.

Does it work offline?
Completely. Y2K Player has no servers and no account — it works in airplane mode.
Will it change my original file?
Never. Playback is non-destructive and exports are written as new files. Each song simply remembers its own tempo and pitch.
What speed makes a song nightcore?
Most nightcore sits between 120% and 150% tempo with pitch raised 2–4 semitones. In linked (vinyl) mode one slider does both at once, like speeding up a record.
